Title: Anaplan Model Builder
Location: Austin, TX – Hybrid
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $110,000 - $145,000 USD bonus
About the Role
A growing organization is looking for an Anaplan Model Builder to join its connected planning team in Austin and support the continued development of its enterprise planning environment.
This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys building in Anaplan, solving business problems, and working directly with stakeholders to turn planning requirements into effective and scalable models.
You'll support both new development and existing models, with the opportunity to take on increasing technical ownership as the Anaplan environment continues to grow.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, test, and maintain Anaplan models
- Develop new functionality and enhance existing solutions
- Translate business requirements into effective Anaplan designs
- Partner with Finance and other business stakeholders to understand planning needs
- Troubleshoot model issues and identify opportunities to improve performance
- Build dashboards, reporting, calculations, and planning workflows
- Support data imports, exports, and integrations
- Assist with testing, documentation, deployment, and ongoing platform support
- Follow Anaplan best practices around model design, scalability, and performance
- Work alongside other Anaplan professionals on larger planning initiatives
Desired Candidate Profile
- 2 years of hands-on Anaplan experience
- Strong Anaplan Model Building skills
- Experience developing and enhancing Anaplan models
- Understanding of Anaplan architecture and model design best practices
- Experience across FP&A, Supply Chain, Sales Planning, or other Connected Planning use cases
- Comfortable translating business requirements into technical solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
- Anaplan Model Builder certification preferred
- Comfortable working in a hybrid environment in Austin, TX
