Software Engineer, Linux

Our Healthcare client is looking to bring aboard multiple Software Engineer/Linux Systems Analyst. This would be to join their team on a 9 month consulting basis with strong potential for extension. This individual will work closely with cross-functional engineering teams to support hardware-focused software development. We are looking for someone who loves hands-on engineering, thrives in collaborative environments, excited to grow their technical skill set while contributing to meaningful product development. This individual will become part of an innovative engineering effort, working hands-on with hardware and Linux systems while gaining experience in a highly technical environment. This is a great opportunity for an engineer who’s hungry to learn, enjoys working with cutting-edge technology, and wants to build real-world product experience.Responsibilities would include:Collaborate on GPU/CPU–related components, performance testing, and system-level behavior.Develop and execute unit tests to validate functionality, reliability, and integration.Participate in troubleshooting, analyzing hardware/software interactions, and improving system performance.Assist in Linux-based development and testing activities across the stack.Bring energy, curiosity, and a team-first mindset to a fast-moving engineering environment.The ideal candidate will have multiple years of experience with the following:Experience or exposure to hardware systems (GPU/CPU preferred).Familiarity with Linux environments and command-line tools.Understanding of unit testing frameworks and testing best practices.Knowledge of Python, Bash and other scripting technologies. This range is subject to change based on job-related factors, including client requirements where applicable.
