We have an opening for a Test Analyst that has some BA experience, has manual and automation testing experience and lives within a commute of Lansing, MI. Someone experienced with ADA Compliance would be ideal. Our client may want to hire this Test Analyst onto their staff after a year of contract, so they don’t want a candidate on a visa.
Responsibilities:
The role includes both software testing and business analysis responsibilities. The selected candidate will contribute in an agile environment by developing and executing test plans, use cases, and test scripts for custom .NET web applications.

Codeworks, LLC discloses that the anticipated hourly pay range for this position is between $50 and $55. This range is subject to change based on job-related factors, including client requirements where applicable.

Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience designing and executing manual and automated test cases.
- Experience and understanding of secure application development lifecycle (SADLC).
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and also work independently in a dynamic, agile environment.
- Proficiency in:
- Software testing and quality assurance processes (including QA, UAT, integration testing, accessibility testing, etc.)
- Writing and maintaining test plans and strategies.
- Tracking issues and managing defects.
- Writing SQL and P-SQL queries.
- Generating and maintaining test data and reports.
- Testing APIs using tools such as Postman or Rest Client.
- Working with Java and JavaScript-based applications.
- Comfortable working on-site in Lansing, MI, two days per week.
- Experience with environment-specific test suite development within application lifecycle tools.
- Familiarity with automated testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Provar, Katalon, etc.).
- Experience using Azure DevOps Testing Module.
- Experience testing mobile applications on iOS and Android platforms.
- Familiarity with load and performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
- Knowledge of ADA compliance and accessibility testing tools (e.g., JAWS, AccVerify, etc.).
