Seeking highly motivated Computer Science and Software Engineering Interns who are interested in developing software for industry-leading healthcare solutions company. Responsibilities include developing applications that support MR imaging technology. This includes algorithm development and high-performance computing using GPUs. The product primarily runs on Linux operating systems, with development focused on C and OpenCL.

Must be available to work onsite in a hybrid model in Waukesha, WI up to three day per week. No current or future sponsorship available for this role.
In this role you will:
Participate in developing and testing reconstruction software, utilizing latest high-performance computing hardware (GPGPU/multicore CPU) and software technologies
Experimenting with emerging high-performance computing technologies to optimize MR performance
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate reconstruction algorithms into product software
Requirements:
Junior standing in biomedical engineering, computer science, electrical engineering or related fields, expected graduation date 2026 - 2027
Experience with C and exposure to Linux.
Familiarity with Object-orientated programming and design patterns,
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
GPA > 3.5
Desired qualifications:
Familiarity with GPU technologies. CUDA and/or OpenCL
Familiarity with Bash, Python and/or Linux shell scripting
Strong mathematical foundation.
Codeworks discloses that the anticipated hourly pay range for this position is $23.50. This range is subject to change based on job-related factors, including client requirements where applicable. All full time Codeworks employees are eligible to enroll in the company’s benefits plan.
