We are looking for a Project Manager with a strong Technical Business Analyst background to support a banking and payments modernization program. This role combines delivery leadership with hands-on requirements gathering, process documentation, and close collaboration with engineering teams to drive successful project execution.
What You Can Expect (Responsibilities)
- Lead project planning, execution, and delivery across cross-functional teams
- Manage scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder communications
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and maintain delivery visibility through project tracking tools
- Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements
- Translate business needs into user stories, acceptance criteria, and process flows
- Partner with engineering teams to define system interactions, APIs, and payment workflows
- Ensure alignment between requirements, technical solutions, and delivered outcomes
- 6 years of combined Project Management and Business Analysis experience in software delivery environments
- Strong experience in banking and payments, including payments processing and modernization initiatives
- Ability to work effectively with engineering teams and understand cloud-based, API-driven, and event-driven architectures
- Proven experience gathering requirements and producing user stories, acceptance criteria, and process documentation
- Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and delivery tools such as Jira and Confluence
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience leveraging AI tools for documentation, analysis, and requirements definition
- Knowledge of ISO 20022, Fedwire, or other payment industry standards
- Experience with Lucidchart, Miro, draw.io, BPMN, or similar modeling tools
- Background in Software Engineering or QA
- Familiarity with AI concepts such as MCP, RAG, and agentic systems
