What are the responsibilities and job description for the Coder's Clubhouse Makerspace Instructor position at Coder's Clubhouse?
After-School Makerspace Coach – Coder's Clubhouse
Want to get paid to play with 3D printers and help kids build cool stuff? Coder's Clubhouse is looking for an engaging, upbeat, and responsible coach to join our after-school Makerspace program for students ages 9–16.
You'll guide small groups through self-paced, hands-on projects — 3D printing, circuits, electronics, engineering builds — while building real relationships and making the Makerspace somewhere kids genuinely look forward to coming back to. Your job isn't to lecture; it's to circulate, troubleshoot, encourage, and inspire.
What You'll Do Prep materials, set a welcoming tone, support students as they work, help problem-solve without taking over, and celebrate their progress. Classes are 1.5 hours, weekday evenings starting at 4:30 PM.
What We're Looking For
- Experience with kids (tutoring, camps, coaching, babysitting — it all counts)
- Familiarity with 3D printing, TinkerCAD, basic electronics, or hands-on building
- Positive, patient, and dependable — energy matters here
Pay & Schedule $28–$32 hr | Flexible scheduling
