What You’ll Do
We’re looking for a Special Needs Teacher who is passionate about helping neurodiverse children thrive. In this role, you’ll assess learning needs, design individualized educational plans, and guide students through both academic and cognitive training sessions using innovative tools.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments for students with special needs.
- Create and deliver individualized lesson plans.
- Use MobyMax for academic assessments and progress tracking.
- Learn and apply tools such as Reflexion, SmartFit, and NeuroTracker.
- Collaborate with staff to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
- Communicate regularly with parents about student goals and progress.
- Maintain a fun, patient, and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
- Experience working with children with special needs (SPED, ABA, or related experience preferred).
- Knowledge of individualized instruction and cognitive learning methods.
- Familiarity with MobyMax, or willingness to learn quickly.
- Interest in new learning technologies and neurocognitive tools.
- Excellent communication skills, patience, and enthusiasm for teaching.
