What You’ll Be Doing
- Perform power analysis and optimization for ASIC designs in AR/VR products
- Conduct RTL and netlist-level power analysis
- Execute PPA optimization using industry tools such as Fusion Compiler
- Analyze, debug, and interpret reports across ASIC flows including synthesis, physical design, power, and timing
- Develop scripts for post-processing, data analysis, and report generation
- Implement design components at RTL and UPF levels
- Collaborate with teams and document findings clearly
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience in ASIC power engineering, CAD engineering, or physical design
- Strong experience with power estimation tools, synthesis, and physical design workflows
- Strong understanding of power trade-offs in design and backend implementation
- Strong experience in scripting and data analysis using tools such as Python, Tcl, or similar
- Strong academic background in electrical engineering, computer science, or related field
- Experience with tools such as Synopsys or Cadence is a plus
- Familiarity with scripting tools like Python or Perl and data analysis tools such as Excel or Matlab is a plus
- Strong experience in low power design methodologies including UPF specifications is a plus
- Experience in silicon power characterization and SoC/IP-level profiling is a plus
- Strong communication skills with the ability to document and explain technical concepts clearly
