What You’ll Be Doing

• Perform power analysis and optimization for ASIC designs in AR/VR products
• Conduct RTL and netlist-level power analysis
• Execute PPA optimization using industry tools such as Fusion Compiler
• Analyze, debug, and interpret reports across ASIC flows including synthesis, physical design, power, and timing
• Develop scripts for post-processing, data analysis, and report generation
• Implement design components at RTL and UPF levels
• Collaborate with teams and document findings clearly

What We’re Looking For

• Strong experience in ASIC power engineering, CAD engineering, or physical design
• Strong experience with power estimation tools, synthesis, and physical design workflows
• Strong understanding of power trade-offs in design and backend implementation
• Strong experience in scripting and data analysis using tools such as Python, Tcl, or similar
• Strong academic background in electrical engineering, computer science, or related field
• Experience with tools such as Synopsys or Cadence is a plus
• Familiarity with scripting tools like Python or Perl and data analysis tools such as Excel or Matlab is a plus
• Strong experience in low power design methodologies including UPF specifications is a plus
• Experience in silicon power characterization and SoC/IP-level profiling is a plus
• Strong communication skills with the ability to document and explain technical concepts clearly
