Role : Security Project Manager with Change & Release Management exp
Location : McKinney, TX(Hybrid)
Role Summary Leads the full change and release framework, making sure deployments happen in a controlled, compliant, and predictable way. Acts as the central point connecting engineering, operations, security, and business teams to keep environments stable and change-ready.
Key Responsibilities
Change & Release Management
· Own the full change management lifecycle from request intake to closure.
· Run and coordinate CAB meetings, circulate agendas, and ensure decisions are logged and communicated.
· Validate risk assessments, impact documentation, technical details, and backout strategies.
· Maintain accurate release calendars, deployment plans, and versioning records.
· Track SLA compliance, generate audit-ready reports, and strengthen governance controls.
· Partner with infrastructure, cloud, and security leads to schedule and execute releases with minimal impact.
· Keep release pipelines clean, predictable, and aligned with customer standards.
Project Management
· Drive planning sessions for upcoming changes, releases, and infrastructure uplift initiatives.
· Build and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and dependency maps.
· Coordinate across cross-functional teams to remove blockers and keep delivery on track.
· Run daily/weekly progress checkpoints, highlight delays early, and manage escalations.
· Align stakeholders on scope, milestones, risks, and expected outcomes.
· Ensure documentation, approvals, and communication packs are delivered on time.
· Support post-implementation reviews, root-cause discussions, and continuous improvement cycles.
· Manage reporting for leadership—status, risks, mitigation, and decision asks.
Technical Competencies
· Strong proficiency with ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow and EasyVista.
· Solid knowledge of ITIL v4 Change, Release, Deployment, and Configuration Management processes.
· Understanding of infrastructure, cloud, and hybrid deployment lifecycles.
· Familiarity with CI/CD workflows, release windows, and maintenance planning.
Behavioural Competencies

· Confident communicator with excellent coordination and escalation handling skills.
· High ownership, follow-through, and the ability to manage pressure during critical releases.
· Ability to work with diverse technical teams and keep everyone aligned.
Experience / Qualification
· 6–8 years in enterprise-scale change, release, or environment management roles.
· ITIL v4 certification preferred.
· Experience collaborating closely with infrastructure, cloud, DevOps, and security teams.
· Prior exposure to project or program management is an advantage.
