Overview
Code Equity Group is seeking a Business Analyst (Intermediate) to support a State of Florida agency in Tallahassee. This role serves as a critical liaison between business stakeholders and IT, supporting the intake, analysis, and governance of technology demands from ideation through approval.
This is a fully onsite position (Monday–Friday) with potential flexibility for occasional remote work at manager discretion.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as liaison between business units and IT for demand intake and analysis
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings to gather and refine business needs
- Translate business needs into actionable requirements and documented demands
- Develop business cases including ROI, cost-benefit, and risk analysis
- Document processes, workflows, and system dependencies (Visio or similar tools)
- Support prioritization of demands based on business value and strategic alignment
- Prepare executive-level presentations for funding and governance decisions
- Coordinate with stakeholders to assess feasibility and solution approaches
- Maintain accurate documentation within ServiceNow or similar tools
- Conduct As-Is and To-Be analysis and identify process improvement opportunities
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3 years of business analysis and requirements documentation experience
- Strong experience facilitating sessions with executives and SMEs
- Proficiency with:
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Visio (or similar process modeling tools)
- SharePoint and Microsoft Teams
- Experience developing:
- Business cases (ROI/TCO, cost-benefit, risk analysis)
- Requirements documentation and process models
- Experience with ServiceNow or similar demand/portfolio tools
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Power BI for reporting and analytics
- Experience with demand management or portfolio governance workflows
- Relevant certifications (nice to have):
- PMP, PMI-PBA, PMI-ACP
- CBAP
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM)
- ITIL
