What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Lead (Developer Relations) position at Codat?
Codat was founded by two developers (plus a finance guy!) who set out to build an integrations platform for other developers - so they can focus on building new features and functionality, not reinventing the wheel.
Today, developers are still the critical stakeholders in the evaluation, implementation and long-term success of using Codat. Some of these developers sit within large enterprises, others are themselves start-up founders. Whatever size of company they belong to they should have a world-class experience using our API products, an experience filled with simplicity and aha! moments. You would be required to build the vision, strategy and roadmap to make this experience a reality.
Most importantly, this role represents an opportunity to have leveraged impact on an entire ecosystem building products to better serve small businesses globally.
What will you be doing?
- Define the metrics and KPIs for measuring the success of Codat’s developer experience.
- Develop the product strategy for an optimal experience for the developers building innovative products using Codat.
- Build and deliver a roadmap of products and features used by developers which accelerate launch, adoption and usage.
- Influence the design of other Codat products, championing and promoting the developer to create a unified experience.
- Have responsibility for a Developer Relations team who are hands on with developers, gathering feedback and accelerating the creation of advocates and evangelists.

- Technical background essential - you must be comfortable writing code to understand the needs of developers.
