Effective October 1, 2021 , in accordance with the Rhode Island Department of Health , all CODAC employees working in the clinics must be fully vaccinated for SARS CoV2 (COVID-19
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare claim forms and billing invoices weekly for all third-parties and ensure proper transmission of electronically transmitted information
- Follow through on any denied claims with the appropriate third-party representative to determine what steps to take to remedy the situation which caused the denial
- Post all insurance payments
- Provide CFO with monthly reports, such as, Summary Journal, Detail Journal, Cash Collections Summary and Patient Balance Due Summary Report
- Responsible for tracking and monitoring insurance authorizations
- Participate in Performance Improvement activities
- Perform other duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma with training in finance/bookkeeping and business software and at least 3 to 5 years’ of related work experience.
