Position SummaryThe General Warehouse Associate supports daily warehouse operations to ensure accurate, efficient, and safe handling of HVAC equipment, parts, and materials. This role plays a key part in maintaining inventory accuracy, fulfilling customer and technician orders, and keeping the warehouse organized and running smoothly.Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse OperationsReceive, unload, and inspect incoming HVAC equipment, parts, and supply shipments.Pick, pack, and stage orders for delivery to customers, installers, and service technicians.Load and unload company trucks using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.Perform cycle counts and assist with full physical inventory to maintain accuracy.Material Handling & OrganizationStore materials in designated locations following company procedures and safety guidelines.Ensure warehouse aisles, shelves, and storage areas remain clean, organized, and hazard-free.Label and stock inventory items correctly for efficient retrieval.Equipment & SafetyOperate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any issues to management.Follow all OSHA, company safety policies, and HVAC material handling guidelines.Customer & Technician SupportAssist HVAC installers and service technicians with retrieving parts and materials.Communicate shortages, damages, or discrepancies to supervisors promptly.Provide friendly and professional support to internal and external customers.QualificationsPrevious warehouse or material handling experience (HVAC industry preferred, not required).Ability to lift 50–75 lbs frequently.Forklift experience or certification preferred.Basic computer skills for inventory systems, scanning, and order processing.Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Work EnvironmentWarehouse setting with exposure to HVAC equipment, tools, and materials.Requires standing, lifting, bending, and moving throughout the shift.
