Our client, a high-growth professional services organization backed by a premier private equity firm, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their expanding finance team. This newly created role is responsible for cash accounting and accruals, supporting the month-end close and financial reporting, and overseeing full-cycle AP and AR operations. The position plays a key role in maintaining accurate financials, strengthening processes, and supporting effective cash flow management. Responsibilities:Manage full-cycle Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable operations, ensuring accurate billing, collections, and vendor paymentsOversee daily cash management, including recording deposits, reconciling accounts, and maintaining up-to-date ledgersDrive timely collections and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication and issue resolutionReview, verify, and process vendor invoices and payments while monitoring cash flow and adherence to termsSupport month-end close through accruals, reconciliations, and expense reporting to ensure financial accuracyPartner cross-functionally with operations, legal, and business development to streamline financial processesAssist with inventory, cost accounting, and ad-hoc projects to support broader accounting initiativesIdentify and implement process improvements that enhance accuracy, efficiency, and internal controlsQualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field3 years of hands-on AP and AR experience in a high-volume environmentExperience supporting month-end close and accrualsProficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP software (NetSuite preferred)Knowledge of GAAP and general accounting
