The Opportunity:Our client, a high-growth professional services organization backed by a premier private equity firm, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join their expanding finance team. This newly created role will oversee full-cycle AP and AR operations, contributing to accurate financial reporting, streamlined processes, and strong cash flow management. The ideal candidate brings 3 years of accounting experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable and hands-on proficiency with NetSuite.Responsibilities:Manage full-cycle Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable operations, ensuring accurate billing, collections, and vendor paymentsOversee daily cash management, including recording deposits, reconciling accounts, and maintaining up-to-date ledgersDrive timely collections and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication and issue resolutionReview, verify, and process vendor invoices and payments while monitoring cash flow and adherence to termsSupport month-end close through accruals, reconciliations, and expense reporting to ensure financial accuracyPartner cross-functionally with operations, legal, and business development to streamline financial processesAssist with inventory, cost accounting, and ad-hoc projects to support broader accounting initiativesIdentify and implement process improvements that enhance accuracy, efficiency, and internal controlsQualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field3 years of hands-on AP and AR experience in a high-volume environmentProficiency with NetSuite and strong Excel skillsSolid understanding of GAAP and general accounting principlesHigh attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership over your workExcellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
