What are the responsibilities and job description for the Salon Assistant/Accessor position at Coda Staffing?
Junior Salon Assessor (Mon thru Thurs 8-4:30) OFF ON FRIDAY, SAT, and SUN.
MUST HAVE A CT COSMETOLOGY license. CAN NOT DO THE JOB WITHOUT A CT COSMETOLOGY LICENSE.

Job Summary
Salon Studies are conducted by CT State licensed stylists. Can not be considered without a CT state cosmetology license.
They apply products to panelists hair-either shampoo, conditioner or hair styling aids. During a salon study the stylist will instruct panelists and record their answers. Stylist will also use their expertise to provide product evaluations.
Job Requirements
- Must be a team player.
- Currently as a licensed Hair Stylist by the State of Connecticut. Must have CT hair styling license.
- Read and understand protocol.
- Work in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible, can switch from one task to another easily.
- Asks questions and records study answers.
- Use expertise to provide product evaluations and give feedback to hair team
- Can stand for long periods of time.
- Can blow dry hair for long periods of time
- Can style hair if needed.
- Conduct test according to protocol for study.
- Review instruction with panelist and ensures panelists are following test instructions.
- Familiar with tablet.
- Able to maintain panelist flow if other stylists are busy with other areas of their jobs. (Not limited to one panelist per time slot)
- Practice sanitation procedures.
- Conduct scalp assessment and able to identify scalp disorders/cuts abrasions/burns. .
