Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable Kitchen Porter to support the kitchen team with cleaning, sanitation, food preparation support, and general kitchen duties. The ideal candidate is hardworking, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Responsibilities
- Wash, clean, and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen, storage, and work areas.
- Assist with basic food preparation as directed by kitchen staff.
- Sweep, mop, and take out trash as needed.
- Receive, move, and organize food and kitchen supplies.
- Load, unload, and transport supplies throughout the facility.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
- Assist kitchen staff with general tasks to keep daily operations running smoothly.
- Lift and carry food, supplies, and equipment as required.
- Perform other kitchen and cleaning duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous kitchen, food service, porter, or cleaning experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
- Strong attention to cleanliness and sanitation.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical duties, including lifting and moving supplies.
- Must be comfortable working in a kitchen environment.
Salary : $20
