Delivery Driver

Contract Position for 3 months could be longerMon thru Fri 7am to 4:30pm off on Sat and Sun each week!Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse/Driver to join our team. In this dual role, you will be responsible for managing warehouse operations while also handling delivery tasks. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and have experience in both warehouse environments and driving. This position requires a commitment to safety, efficiency, and excellent communication with customers and team members.ResponsibilitiesLoad and unload goods from delivery vehicles, ensuring items are handled with care.Operate a box truck 24ft or 26ft for route driving, delivering products to various locations in a timely manner.Maintain accurate records of deliveries and inventory movements.Utilize warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks to move products efficiently.Perform heavy lifting and moving of items as required by the job.Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space.Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients.Follow all safety protocols while driving and working in the warehouse environment.ExperiencePrevious warehouse experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of inventory management practices.Experience as a delivery driver or courier, with knowledge of route driving is highly desirable.Familiarity with operating box trucks and manual transmission vehicles is a plus.Ability to operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely; certification may be required.Strong customer service skills, demonstrating professionalism in all interactions.Capability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks consistently throughout the workday.
