Delivery Driver

Duties and Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport and deliver products to customers and designated locations.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload materials while ensuring products are handled safely and accurately.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
• Follow all DOT regulations, company safety policies, and applicable state and federal transportation laws.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, shipping documents, logs, and paperwork.
• Verify quantities and delivery information before leaving the facility and upon delivery.
• Provide professional, courteous customer service at delivery locations.
• Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized vehicle and ensure equipment is properly maintained.
• Communicate with dispatch, warehouse personnel, and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.
• Perform other warehouse or delivery-related duties as needed.

Qualifications

• updated medical card
• Clean and safe driving record.
• Previous commercial driving or delivery experience preferred.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, and move materials as required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules effectively.

Work Environment

• Local delivery position with daily routes.
• May require frequent loading and unloading of materials.
• Must be comfortable working in a warehouse, outdoor, and customer delivery environments.
