What are the responsibilities and job description for the VP/SVP Investments (Real Estate) position at Coda Search│Staffing?
Our client is large well-funded extremely active Private Equity/Real Estate Investment Fund with over a 20 year track record or responsible investing. Currently seeking to add a VP/SVP to their Southeast Investment Team, select individual will be responsible for acquisitions/investments, for the Firms' substantial commercial real estate portfolio.
Core Strategies include but not limited to: Office, Industrial/Data Centers, Logistics, and retail assets.
- The role will led office/industrial underwriting /M&A activities across southeast US region
- Identify market trends, and translate these insights into actionable investment strategies
- Utilize network of industry relationships with Brokerage community and Property Managers to procure desired assets in target regions
- Develop and execute strategies with intent to enhance and expand upon strategic alliances and optimize capital allocation through direct investments/acquisitions
- Ideal professional will work closely with both internal and external partners to build the firms' brand and manage the full life-cycle deal execution process from sourcing to closing while performing strong analytical and due diligence responsibilities
- Prepare Investment/Offering Memorandums for Investment Committee and Partners
- Manage, develop, and mentor the Acquisition Team, assisting in building a high-performing team and implementing processes to support their success
- Collaborate with senior leaders across business units to support expansion, consolidation, and relocation needs
Requirements
- 7 years of professional experience within commercial Real Estate Acquisitions
- Top Academic pedigree required
- CFA/MBA strongly preferred
- Proven track record of managing/mentoring and developing young Analysts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including data modeling, research, quantitative, and analytical skills
- High interest in and enthusiasm about economic and financial market trends
- Exceptional client-facing skills and service orientation
- Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work with multiple stakeholders and effectively communicate complex issues both verbally and in writing to senior management and clients
Salary : $400,000 - $600,000
