Coda Search is partnering with a growing investment management group with offices located in Midtown, NY. The company is seeking to hire Vice President of Enterprise Risk Management to lead the evolution of its risk framework, partner with cross-functional leaders, and drive enterprise-wide risk governance and reporting.
The VP of Enterprise Risk Management will oversee the design, execution, and continuous enhancement of the company’s ERM framework. This individual will act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, lead quarterly risk assessments, ensure strong governance practices, and prepare/present all risk reporting for the Risk Committee and Board of Directors.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain, enhance, and operationalize the company’s Enterprise Risk Management framework in alignment with COSO
- Develop enterprise-wide risk policies, standards, and governance processes.
- Lead periodic risk identification, assessment, and scoring across strategic, financial, operational, and regulatory risk categories.
- Build strong risk ownership and accountability across the business by partnering with department leaders (Accounting/Finance, Legal, IT, Operations, Asset Management, HR, etc.).
- Prepare and present quarterly enterprise risk reports for the Risk Committee and Board of Directors.
- Coordinate annual risk appetite and tolerance discussions with executive leadership and the Board.
- Support internal audit, SOX, compliance, and other assurance functions to ensure alignment with the ERM program.
- Provide guidance on risk implications of new transactions, capital initiatives, acquisitions, and portfolio changes.
- Build and manage KPIs, dashboards, and reporting tools to support real-time risk monitoring.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field; MBA, CPA, or CRMA/CRM/ERM certification preferred.
- 7 years of relevant experience in enterprise risk management, operational risk, internal audit, or risk governance
- Deep understanding of ERM frameworks
- Strong communication and presentation skills with experience interfacing directly with senior executives and Boards.
- Ability to translate complex risk concepts into actionable insights for business leaders.
- Proven experience building or enhancing ERM frameworks, risk dashboards, and cross-functional risk processes.
Salary : $200,000 - $300,000
