We're working with a high growth Global Professional Services and Legal Firm. They are seeking a Manager of Accounting to help lead a division and manage a team of 4ppl. Reporting to head of Team, this professional will be working with Executives, COO, and Sales team.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, P&L for Month/Quarter/Year-End accounting close and financial reports
- Responsible for Revenue, Margins and Cost tracking metrics discussed with stakeholders across the business
- Owner of cash management function including forecast, monitor and track cash flow reports while identifying and evaluating variances.
- Review customer invoicing processes and contractual agreements to reconcile revenue.
- Perform key elements of the financial cycle and supporting subsidiary processes.
- Manage detailed variance and fluctuation analyses.
- Assist FP&A with accounting interpretations for budgeted transactions
- Supervises accounting staff.
- Assists in the annual audit.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is a must, CPA preferred.
- 6 years accounting experience out of Public Accounting or Private Accounting team is a plus, including media production experience a plus.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and Revenue Recognition is needed
- In depth experience working with general ledger and financial analysis, including journal entries and doing detailed account analyses.
