Our client is a premier Private Equity/Asset Management clients is currently seeking to add a SVP/Head of Investor Relations within their growing IR/Bus Dev Team. This individual will be reponsible for managing firms' Investor Relations Team, supporting fund marketing/raising efforts and reporting to Partner.
Primary duties and responsibilities
- Manage full range of marketing activities including daily interaction with existing and prospective limited partners, fund raising, and client communication.
- Assist in the development of strategic and analytical frameworks for investment product development
- Head of Marketing/Head of Capital Raising and business development efforts
- Responsible for all aspects of day to day project management including new business development
- Develop and nurture relationships with sophisticated institutional investors, such as: pension funds, endowments, foundations, family offices, and insurance companies
- Attend meetings, industry events, and conferences with PM’s to meet with potential investors and to represent the firm
Prepare & present due diligence findings to investment committees, Senior Management and Firm Clients.
Qualifications
- 7 years of experience, with at least 5 years of experience in sales, strategy consulting/ investment bank, or direct Hedge Fund Marketing/Investor Relations.
- Strong and well-developed analytic, problem-solving and quantitative skill, with exceptional attention to detail
BA/BS degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Marketing or a related field.
Advanced degree (MBA) strongly preferred
- Results-orientation with an ability to take initiative, execute and complete deliverables in a timely manner
- Deep understanding of Private Equity/Alternative Asset Management and/or Real Estate required
- Strong leadership potential, with excellent inter-personal skills and collaboration abilities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to interact with all levels of the organization
Salary : $300,000 - $400,000
