We’re partnering with our client to hire a Buyer for a temp to perm opportunity in Teterboro, NJ (On-site).
If you enjoy being the point person who keeps purchasing on track—resolving supplier issues, managing open POs, and partnering closely with demand planning—this could be a great fit.
What you’ll do:
- Manage open purchase orders and ensure suppliers confirm within 48 hours of release
- Resolve past-due POs and action buyer exception items to support demand/production
- Create/maintain/release POs based on demand plan / MRP
- Resolve pricing discrepancies with suppliers & Accounts Payable (SAP master data)
- Support receiving schedules/capacity planning and communicate material shortages in SAP
What they’re looking for:
- 2 years of purchasing experience
- Strong Excel / MS Office; SAP is a plus
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-up in a fast-paced environment
- Bonus: Experience in Flavor & Fragrance (or closely related industry)
Hourly:
- $30-33/hr (BOE) (W2), 40 hrs/week
Salary : $30 - $33
