Job Description:
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Golf Cart Delivery Driver to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong driving record, a passion for excellent customer service, and the ability to transport and maintain golf carts in pristine condition. In addition to delivery, this role involves cleaning and preparing golf carts for clients. Responsibilities:
- Safely transport golf carts to and from designated delivery locations.
- Perform pre-delivery inspections to ensure all golf carts are in proper working condition.
- Clean and sanitize golf carts before delivery, ensuring they are visually appealing and ready for customer use.
- Assist in loading and unloading golf carts from custom flat bed trucks.
- Provide excellent customer service during drop-off and pick-up, ensuring a positive experience for clients.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, including golf cart hours, delivery time, and any special instructions from dispatch.
- Not required but a plus. Perform basic maintenance on golf carts as needed (e.g., checking tire pressure, battery levels, changing out seat belts, windshields).
- Ensure all deliveries are made in compliance with local traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members.
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Previous delivery experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and move golf carts (may require physical exertion).
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays, as needed.
- Basic knowledge of golf cart operations is a plus.
- Previous experience in cleaning vehicles or similar tasks is a plus.
