Role Description:
We are looking for a creative, detail-oriented Content Marketing Coordinator to produce, distribute, and optimize content across our podcast, YouTube, Instagram, and other digital channels. The Content Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for the end-to-end content production process, with a primary focus on podcast content, YouTube, Instagram, and personal branding initiatives.
This role will manage the workflow from recording and editing long-form content to creating and publishing short-form clips that drive engagement and audience growth. The ideal candidate understands how to identify compelling moments, craft engaging narratives, and create content optimized for each platform.
This is a highly hands-on position that combines content production, video editing, publishing, and social media management. You will work closely with company leadership to create long-form and short-form content that strengthens our brand presence and grows our audience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the production and recording of podcasts, interviews, educational content, and other long-form video content.
- Operate cameras, microphones, lighting equipment, and production setups during recordings.
- Edit long-form podcast and video content for YouTube and other distribution channels.
- Create high-quality short-form content from long-form recordings for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and other social platforms.
- Design thumbnails, graphics, and supporting creative assets as needed.
- Manage and maintain content calendars for Instagram and YouTube.
- Schedule and publish content across platforms.
- Write captions, video titles, descriptions, and other supporting copy.
- Monitor comments, community engagement, and audience feedback.
- Ensure content is published consistently and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Identify high-performing moments from long-form content and develop clip strategies that maximize reach and engagement.
- Research social media trends, content formats, and platform best practices.
- Monitor content performance metrics and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Assist with content planning, campaign ideation, and editorial calendars.
- Organize video footage, project files, creative assets, and content libraries.
- Maintain efficient production workflows and file management systems.
- Coordinate content deliverables and ensure projects are completed on schedule.
- Assist with studio setup, equipment management, and production logistics.
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in content creation, social media marketing, podcast production, digital media, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar editing software.
- Demonstrated ability to edit both long-form and short-form video content.
- Strong understanding of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and YouTube content strategy.
- Experience identifying engaging content moments and transforming them into platform-specific clips.
- Strong storytelling, editing, and audience-retention instincts.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
- Experience producing or editing podcasts, interviews, or educational content.
- Familiarity with YouTube SEO, thumbnail strategy, and content optimization.
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Canva, After Effects, or similar creative tools.
- Knowledge of camera operation, audio equipment, lighting, and studio production workflows.
- Experience growing social media accounts for a brand, creator, podcast, or business.
- Understanding of content analytics and performance reporting.
- Experience supporting executive, founder, or personal-brand content initiatives.
Compensation:
- $21–$30 per hour, depending on experience and portfolio
