Food Production & Packaging Associate – Part-Time
Cocoa Bombs LLC is looking for dependable and hardworking individuals to join our food production team as Food Production & Packaging Associates.
This is a straightforward, hands-on position focused primarily on packaging finished food products in a clean food manufacturing environment. No previous food production experience is required — we will provide training.
Job Responsibilities
- Package finished food products according to company specifications
- Place products into trays, boxes, sleeves, displays, and shipping cases
- Verify correct product counts, packaging, labels, and lot information
- Perform basic visual quality checks of products and packaging
- Keep workstations clean, organized, and sanitary
- Follow all company food safety and sanitation procedures
- Follow GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP, and SQF food safety requirements
- Properly wear required food production PPE, including hair restraints and gloves as applicable
- Assist with light production, assembly, case packing, and pallet preparation when needed
- Follow instructions from production supervisors and management
- Complete other basic food production or packaging duties as assigned

- Dependable and punctual
- Able to follow instructions and established procedures
- Comfortable performing repetitive packaging tasks
- Detail-oriented, especially when checking labels, counts, and packaging
- Able to work efficiently as part of a small team
- Willing to follow food safety, sanitation, and personal hygiene requirements
- Able to stand for extended periods during a shift
- Able to perform light lifting and general production-floor duties
Previous food production, manufacturing, warehouse, or packaging experience is helpful, but not required.
Schedule
Part-Time – Monday through Friday
Typical hours are approximately 8:30 AM to 1:00–2:30 PM, depending on production needs.
Approximately 22–30 hours per week.
Additional hours may occasionally be available during larger production runs.
Pay
Starting at $12.50 per hour
Opportunities for additional hours and wage growth may be available based on performance, reliability, and production needs.
