Duties
- Safely operate various types of forklifts including reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse.
- Perform order picking using equipment such as Aisle Master pickers and other warehouse management system tools to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Manage shipping and receiving processes by verifying inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring proper documentation, and maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Conduct heavy lifting tasks involving materials handling to move products safely across the warehouse floor.
- Maintain equipment by performing basic repairs or reporting mechanical issues promptly to ensure continuous operation of forklifts and other heavy machinery.
- Assist in warehouse management activities by supporting inventory control, cycle counts, and implementing safety protocols aligned with OSHA standards.
- Support warehouse distribution efforts by organizing storage areas, utilizing pallet jacks, load & unload procedures, and adhering to safety guidelines for heavy equipment operation.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating forklifts such as reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, or similar heavy equipment in a warehouse setting.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) for order picking and inventory tracking.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards related to forklift operation and materials handling.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic equipment repairs or troubleshoot mechanical issues.
- Excellent physical stamina for heavy lifting, standing for extended periods, and performing repetitive tasks safely.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting, measurements, and documentation accuracy.
- Prior experience in shipping & receiving, order picking, or warehouse distribution is highly desirable.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
