Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coconut water, smoothies, beverages, and light food items with precision and flair
- Operate POS systems such as Shift4 to process transactions quickly and accurately
- Greet customers warmly, take orders efficiently, and provide personalized recommendations to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food handling, preparation areas, and serving stations
- Manage cash register operations including cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations for transactions
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and monitoring product freshness
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures at all times
Skills
- Proven experience as a barista or in food service environments with a focus on smoothies or café offerings
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse clientele
- Familiarity using POS systems
- Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods smoothly while maintaining quality standards
- Knowledge of food safety practices, food preparation techniques, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to perform retail math accurately for cash handling and sales transactions
- Enthusiastic team player with a passion for the food industry and creating memorable customer experiences
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
