The Line Cook at Coco’s is an experienced and highly collaborative individual that supports the daily leadership of the culinary program within a refined private members club environment. This role requires an individual who operates with professionalism, consistency, creativity, and a commitment to excellence in both execution and team collaboration.
The Line Cook works closely with Kitchen Leadership to deliver an elevated dining experience that reflects the discretion, sophistication, and hospitality standards of the company. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced luxury environments, understands the importance of culture and accountability, and takes pride in being part of a strong, respectful team.
Job Responsibilities:
- Set up stations with all necessary supplies and equipment.
- Prepare sections for food preparation and service.
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries of stock.
- Proficient in executing basic and complex recipes at their assigned section.
- Ensure timely preparation of all food items for service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of their section throughout service and preparation.
- Skillful in executing recipes at their assigned section.
- Effective communication with team members and supervisors.
- Prepare food for service, including tasks such as chopping vegetables, butchering meat, and preparing sauces.
General Requirements and Experience:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a full service, high-volume, fast paced kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of various cooking styles and techniques
- Passion for details and a willingness to learn
- Ability to work a variable flexible schedule
- Must know and uphold DOH standards
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to handle items that weigh up to 50 lbs.
