Property Inspector / Field Support
Pay: $22.00–$24.00 per hour
Location Requirement
Applicants must live in or near Marathon, Florida. Applicants outside of the area will not be considered.
What this job actually looks like
This isn't a desk job.
You'll spend your day driving between vacation rental properties, making sure homes are guest-ready, identifying issues before guests arrive, and solving problems in the field. Every day is different. Some days are routine, while others require quick thinking and the ability to adapt.
We're looking for someone who is dependable, self-motivated, and takes pride in doing the job right without needing constant supervision.
Open Positions
Full-Time Property Inspector
- 4–5 days per week
- Weekend availability required (including Saturdays)
Saturday Field Support
- Saturdays only
- Great for someone looking for weekend work
What you'll be doing
- Inspect vacation homes before guest arrivals to ensure they're completely ready
- Identify cleanliness, maintenance, inventory, and safety concerns
- Perform rechecks after housekeeping when needed
- Complete small maintenance tasks such as replacing batteries, light bulbs, air filters, smoke detector batteries, and similar items
- Deliver supplies or guest-requested items
- Assist guests with simple issues when possible
- Troubleshoot basic Wi-Fi, television, and smart lock concerns
- Pull trash cans to and from the curb as needed to keep homes compliant with local regulations
- Take photos and document issues using company apps
- Communicate updates clearly with the office throughout the day

Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable personal vehicle in good working condition
- Comfortable driving throughout the Marathon area all day
- Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
- Comfortable using a smartphone for photos, apps, and work communication
- Weekend availability is required for the full-time position
- Must be available Saturdays for both positions
- Willing to occasionally assist with after-hours guest emergencies when scheduled
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
Helpful Experience
Experience in vacation rentals, hospitality, housekeeping, maintenance, property inspections, or customer service is helpful, but we're happy to train the right person.
