The Role
We are looking for a dynamic Sales and Marketing Coordinator to join our team! This person will drive sales by leveraging a variety of marketing tools ranging from local networking events to digital media, building meaningful relationships with key vendor partners and clients, and delighting clients while finding solutions that fit their unique needs. A proven acumen for sales and marketing will allow a candidate to transition into this role efficiently and consistently meet or exceed sales goals from the start. We value the relationships with our clients—they’re the core of everything we do—and look forward to this person treating these relationships with as much care as we do.
While the Coordinator will work independently and remotely, there is collaboration within our team across departments and the Coordinator should look forward to connecting with the team regularly to ensure, at a minimum, smooth execution of events. This person will also need to be based in the greater Boulder/Denver metro area in order to occasionally meet with venues, planners, and clients in person. This future team member is also a stickler for details and extremely organized, plus excited about what we’re building and to be part of a growing, woman-owned business!
Responsibilities
- Outline marketing plan to support sales goals
- Execute marketing needs, ranging from in-person networking to e-newsletters, partnerships, social media, etc.
- Oversee sales of services and products
- Outline sales strategy to meet sales goals
- Execute strategies to meet sales goals while retaining a high conversion rate on both inside and outside sales
- Build/maintain meaningful relationships with clients, vendors, and other industry professionals to build a network of recurring events and referrals
- Meet or exceed quarterly and annual sales goals
- Coordinate with internal team to provide basic operational and logistics information for events booked
- Provide streamlined, easy, enjoyable process to clients
- Offer wonderful hospitality to clients, measured in specific feedback from clients
- Maintain detailed records and documentation of all inquiries, clients, and events
- Analyze event data and feedback to make thoughtful suggestions to improve and streamline service
- Be an excellent representative of the Cocktail Caravan brand in all instances
Qualifications Experience
- Relevant sales experience (3 years) with documented success
- Relevant bar/event knowledge applicable to our services and products
- Existing relationships in the local event scene a plus
- Amazing attention to detail
- Very, very organized
- Experience using Tripleseat a plus
- Must live in/near our Boulder, Co headquarters
- Reliable vehicle
