Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Construction Laborer/Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be actively involved in supporting construction projects by performing a variety of manual tasks, installing materials, and ensuring safety standards are upheld throughout the job site. Duties
- Assist with the installation of construction components according to detailed plans and technical drawings, including interpreting blueprints and construction plans.
- Perform manual handling tasks such as lifting heavy materials, moving equipment, and positioning structural elements safely and efficiently.
- Operate power tools and equipment to facilitate installation, cutting, drilling, and assembly processes.
- Conduct erosion control measures by installing barriers, silt fences, and other protective structures to prevent soil erosion during construction activities.
- Follow all workplace safety regulations, including OSHA safety standards, respiratory protection protocols, climbing safety procedures, and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Support equipment repair and maintenance to ensure tools and machinery remain in optimal working condition.
- Assist with site cleanup, organization of materials, and adherence to construction workplace safety regulations at all times.
Requirements
- Prior experience in commercial or residential construction environments is preferred; however, motivated entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply
- Mechanical knowledge related to equipment repair, power tools operation, and basic maintenance tasks.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards, construction workplace safety regulations, and respiratory protection requirements.
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting, climbing, manual handling tasks, and working in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety regulations and implementation of safety procedures.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in industrial construction settings.
