Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our team. This role involves supporting various warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and operating heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will have prior warehouse experience (but not required) and possess the necessary skills to ensure efficient and safe handling of materials.
Duties
- Perform inventory management tasks, including stock counting, tracking, and maintaining accurate records.
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and truck with trailer towing following OSHA safety standards
- Load and unload shipments efficiently using appropriate equipment and techniques
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders with precision to ensure order accuracy and timely delivery
- Manage shipping & receiving processes, including verifying shipments against purchase orders and packing lists
- Assist with materials handling, stocking shelves, and organizing warehouse space for optimal workflow
- Support manufacturing or construction-related activities as needed, utilizing mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance or troubleshooting
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and OSHA regulations
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize distribution processes and improve overall warehouse operations
Skills
- Valid and clean driver's license
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during stocking, picking & packing activities
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards applicable to warehouse environments
- Experience with shipping & receiving processes including load & unload procedures preferred
- Familiarity with manufacturing or construction environments is a plus
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors
