What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance w/ Valid Driver's License position at Cocaine Alcohol Awareness Program?
Performs general cleaning and minor maintenance duties in maintaining building, adjacent walks the grounds, and keeping equipment orderly, clean and in functional condition.
General Duties:
- Receives oral or written orders from CEO and Managers.
- Performs work according to standard and by building's operational schedule.
- Cleans rooms, hallways, restrooms, offices, doors, elevators, stairways and windows.
- Uses brooms, mops, and floor equipment to sweep, mop, and strip and wax floors.
- Uses vacuum cleaners to clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture and blinds.
- Dusts furniture and equipment, washes walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, doors.
- Makes minor carpentry, mechanical and plumbing repairs.
- Empties wastebaskets, replenishes restroom supplies, and replaces light bulbs.
- Sets up and tears down chairs, tables and equipment in meeting rooms, and function rooms.
- Follows all applicable safety rules and procedures.
- Clears snow from entrances and walkways.
- Checks building at beginning and end of shifts.
- Knowledge of how to strip, wax and burnish floors
Experience: 2( ) years working in custodial and maintenance.
Education: High School Diplomas or GED
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
