As the Safety, Environmental, and Security (SES) Manager for our Auburndale, Florida facility, you will play a critical role in protecting the health and safety of our people, ensuring compliance with all environmental and security standards, and advancing sustainability objectives within our manufacturing ecosystem. This position calls for an experienced professional who thrives in fast‑moving production environments, brings deep knowledge of workplace health and safety, understands environmental systems, and can champion a culture of continuous improvement. What
You’ll Do for Us

  • Lead and maintain comprehensive safety, health, environmental, and sustainability programs that align with regulatory requirements and company standards across the facility.

  • Facilitate hazard and risk assessment processes, including FMEA and environmental impact evaluations, to identify mitigation strategies and maintain a robust safety culture.

  • Support implementation of ISO 14001 and other recognized management system standards to drive operational excellence and compliance readiness.

  • Manage and improve wastewater quality strategies, reviewing engineering designs and ensuring facility alignment with environmental regulations and policies.

  • Lead and sustain Process Safety Management (PSM) practices, fostering engagement across cross‑functional teams to embed best practices throughout the site.

  • Deliver relevant training programs, including onboarding, annual refreshers, specialty courses, and contractor education, ensuring competence and compliance.

  • Coordinate internal and external audits; track corrective actions and collaborate with facility leaders to drive timely and effective resolution.

  • Oversee emergency response preparedness, including medical response readiness and crisis coordination, to minimize operational disruptions and protect employees.

  • Monitor performance metrics for safety and sustainability, presenting actionable insights, and engaging teams to achieve shared goals and continuous improvement.

  • Influence a proactive safety and environmental mindset by engaging employees at all levels in open communication, problem‑solving, and culture‑building activities.

  • Partner with local agencies and industry organizations to remain current on regulations, emerging trends, and innovative practices in occupational health and sustainability.

  • Support initiatives that integrate environmental responsibility into manufacturing processes, including water stewardship, waste reduction, and responsible resource use.


Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in environmental science, Occupational Safety, or a related technical discipline preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.

  • Minimum of 3 years in a safety, environmental, or operational compliance role within a manufacturing setting, with demonstrated leadership responsibilities.

  • Proven expertise in health and safety regulatory frameworks, environmental compliance protocols, and sustainability practices within large-scale industrial operations.

  • Knowledge of management systems such as ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 (or ISO 45001), and OSHA VPP, with the ability to implement and sustain site-level certification programs.

  • Strong technical acumen in wastewater treatment, industrial hygiene, and Process Safety Management principles.

  • Ability to interpret and apply standards to plant operations, evaluate compliance risks, and introduce practical improvements across production workflows.

  • Proficiency in leveraging analytical tools, data visualization, and digital monitoring systems to track performance and inform decision‑making.

  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills to engage employees, lead training, and collaborate with regulatory authorities and industry stakeholders.

  • Preferred professional certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), or Registered Environmental Manager (REM).

  • Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies and experience within food or beverage manufacturing environments is considered an advantage.

Pay Range:

United States: 109,000 - 129,000 USD

Base pay offered may vary depending on geography, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position, is offered.
