Job Description
The Print Shop Technician receives orders from the Print Shop Manager. Work would include updating templates, printing quantities, completing by adding grommets or applying to corrugated or making shelf talkers and separating them, distributing print materials to account managers, utilizing Adobe Illustrator program and web-based program for PC/Cloud, and managing and maintaining a small format laser printer and large format Aqueous printer.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Production of banners and various forms of POP
- Prepare banners and POP for pickup and delivery
- Installing POP and signage at retail outlets
- Ability and willingness to perform manual labor of printing and producing finished products
- Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations
- Physical requirements: Sit, stand, walk, bend, kneel/squat, climb stairs, overhead reach, grasp, and lift, carry, push/pull up to 50 lbs.
