Job Overview
The Operational Risk Sr. Manager is responsible for supporting the Company-wide strategy for risk management and safety and loss prevention processes that integrate into our business model to drive accidental loss frequency and severity down, increasing efficiency, and protecting teammates and Company assets. This position supports the Corporate-based campuses; maintains 24,7 availability for a crisis, incident management, and emergency planning executing against company requirements for an accident, severe weather events, site emergencies, environmental issues, etc. This role will also lead different risk projects to align execution and consistent implementation of risk control initiatives.

Job Overview
The Operational Risk Sr. Manager is responsible for supporting the Company-wide strategy for risk management and safety and loss prevention processes that integrate into our business model to drive accidental loss frequency and severity down, increasing efficiency, and protecting teammates and Company assets. This position supports the Corporate-based campuses; maintains 24,7 availability for a crisis, incident management, and emergency planning executing against company requirements for an accident, severe weather events, site emergencies, environmental issues, etc. This role will also lead different risk projects to align execution and consistent implementation of risk control initiatives.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Supports strategy, design, and implementation plan of the Company risk control, safety and loss prevention programs, and policies to reduce (mitigate or avoid) the frequency and financial impact (severity) of accidental loss
- Supports regulatory compliance (driver qualification, drug, alcohol testing, etc.) and operational field support and training to minimize regulatory impact and future exposure including organizational policies and procedures
- Administers crisis, incident management, and emergency planning according to company requirements (Incident Management Crisis Resolution local contact)
- Leads efforts to execute property protection initiatives and reduction of recommendations per property insurance inspections
- Prepares financial analysis, information reporting, and internal controls related to risk control and safety. (i.e. must communicate cross-functionally through concise and effectively organized material)
- Manages risk and safety technology-based programs, systems, and initiatives (DriveCam, LMS training, Everbridge) through working closely with the Director of Operational Risk and Compliance, our business partners (ex. Legal, HR, Sales Operations) for effective organizational change efforts and initiatives
- Strong leadership skills
- Knowledge of risk management principles, loss prevention technique
- Regulatory knowledge in OSHA, DOT, EPA, or other applicable standards
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor’s degree (4 years)
- Knowledge acquired through 5 to up to 7 years of work experience
- Business Administration, Finance, Safety, Loss Prevention, Risk Management
