Must be able to lift, push or pull up to 20 lbs.; must have physical mobility and dexterity to occasionally stand, bend, push, twist, kneel, climb, squat, stoop, and reach overhead. Occasionally drives/operates forklifts; works with tools, and equipment. Considerable mental/visual concentration, coordinating manual dexterity with mental/visual attention. Construction & Warehouse environment with variable but moderately high noise levels. Must wear closed-toe shoes, gloves, and other protective items as required. A consistent presence at work is required. Must pass company required drug screen and physical. This position requires background screening. |
Age & Licensing Requirements |

Must maintain a valid driver’s license and have the ability to travel to Coburn’s customer and company branch locations. Non-CDL Drivers: Drivers of vehicles that are transporting material intrastate[1], with a GVWR of 26,000 pounds or less are required to be a minimum age of 21 years old and licensed as follows: Texas– personal driver’s license with medical card. Mississippi & Tennessee- Class D license with medical card. CDL Drivers: A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) is required for drivers who operate vehicles that cross the state line (interstate) in a company-owned vehicle, or who operate vehicles with a GVWR of 26,001 pounds or more. CDL drivers must be a minimum age of 25 years old. In order to operate a forklift, the operator must be a minimum age of 18 years old and successfully complete Coburn’s Forklift Operator Certification. Travel: It is strongly preferred that Business Division Managers have the ability to fly and maintain a current passport. |
