Electrical - Inside Sales - Memphis

Summary
The Inside Sales position is responsible for increasing sales and profit by efficiently and courteously assisting customers with selecting and purchasing products, while assisting the outside sales team with meeting their customer’s expectations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Job Take Off's: Ability to read blueprint specifications for job take off's and prepare submittals as needed.

Inventory Control: Customer is properly and efficiently assisted in the order process as a result of properly maintained inventory and proactive communication of inventory needs.

Increase Sales: Sales & Profits are increased by properly merchandising new products, maintaining a clean and inviting counter, increasing individual customer’s sales volumes, and retaining customer loyalty.

Customer Service: Customer loyalty is maintained by providing Coburn’s exceptional level of customer service as measured through increased sales and profits, customer retention, customer feedback and/or satisfaction ratings.

Knowledge Development: Knowledge is developed and maintained in order to increase credibility with customers, as measured through increased sales and customer loyalty.

Education & Experience  

• High School Diploma or Equivalent AND 1 years of the following experience is required:
  • Electrical Industry Experience
  • Contractor and Building Industry Experience
  • Progressive experience through Coburn’s
• Must possess basic computer skills.
• Must pass company required drug screen and physical.

Physical Requirements
Must be able to lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs.; must have physical mobility and dexterity to frequently stand, bend, push, twist, kneel, climb, squat, stoop, and reach overhead. Occasionally works with tools and equipment. Considerable mental/visual concentration, coordinating manual dexterity with mental/visual attention. Construction and Warehouse environment with variable but moderately high noise levels. Must wear closed-toe shoes, gloves, and other protective items as required. Work in varying weather conditions. A consistent presence at work is required.

In order to operate a forklift, the operator must be a minimum age of 18 years old and successfully complete Coburn’s Forklift Operator Certification.
