REVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES includes the following.
- Grant Claim Reporting (60%):
- Assist with day-to-day financial/bookkeeping tasks related to entering data for grant claim reporting.
- Works closely with the Controller and Director of Compliance to ensure claims are being filed in a timely fashion.
- Maintain internal records and documentation to support audits, grant reporting, and compliance.
- Participates in process improvement initiatives to enhance accounting efficiency and accuracy.
- Filing and Data Entry
- Financial Reporting (40%)
- Prepare account analyses and reconciliations monthly and annually as required.
- Assists with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
- Supports the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting efforts
- Strong analytical skills; ability to effectively analyze & resolve issues
- Provide management with cost-related insights and recommendations
- Help implement and maintain internal controls and accounting procedures (GAAP compliance)
- Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. /B.S.) in business or other related field; and two plus year’s related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Experience with grants management, compliance and financial reporting of government, corporate and foundation grants.
- A valid Indiana driver’s license and a satisfactory MVR is required for this position.
- A clear DCS history, and clear criminal and sex offender background checks is required.
OTHER QUALIFICATIONS: The ideal candidate thinks and acts strategically, anticipates and addresses barriers, and considers how actions and decisions impact individuals and the organization. Highly organized and uses transparent tools and systems to monitor performance of complex goals. Must possess a clear driving record. Must clear national, state, and local law enforcement criminal and sexual offender background checks and DCS history background check.

Salary : $52,000 - $55,000
