Early Childhood Teacher

Responsibilities:
-Responsible for supervising/managing all classroom activities
-Effectively communicate with students and families.
-Create plans for daily activities consistent with the district’s curriculum
-Foster a positive and healthy learning environment
-Ensure the classroom is kept clean and safe at all times
-Encourage creative thinking and learning
-Interact with other teachers and administrative staff as needed
-Communicate with parents/guardians regarding child development and progress
-Monitor and evaluate students’ progress.
-Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution;
- Massachusetts teacher certifiable in elementary education, grades Pre-K – 2 with and without disabilities
- Ability to work with a diverse population
- Knowledge of inclusive instruction and response to intervention helpful
Salary: Unit A contract (salary range:$53,939 - $102,056)
