Key Responsibilities And Expectations
Coburn Chemicals is seeking a skilled and dedicated Sales Representative. As an Account Manager for Coburn Chemicals, you will work to increase sales and customer service for our chemical distribution in the Mid-Atlantic / North East Region. Provide direct contact for external customers in order to actively promote Coburn Chemicals’ products within an assigned geographic territory. Maintain and build relationships with customers by providing ongoing service, support, information, and guidance; will research and recommend new opportunities as appropriate.
Responsibilities
- Provide sales and customer service for timely and cost-effective completion of all Chemical Distribution.
- Analyze territory for new customers and markets, and established customers and market trends
- Establish excellent rapport with customers in assigned territory to gain customer confidence and relationships with Coburn Chemical
- Processing customer inquiries
- Providing quotations
- Processing orders and credits
- Investigation and resolution of customer issues
- Demonstrate product specifications to customer
- Act as a technical resource to address and resolve inquiries and problems
- Address customer concerns, complaints, and corrective actions concerning Coburn Chemicals products and service
- Provide client and sales correspondence
- Tracking of shipments
- Establish and maintain relationships with customers
- Maintain detailed notes on customers
Qualifications And Competencies
- Undergraduate degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and work experience that provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work
- Sharp analytical thinking and reasoning abilities
- Excellent time management
- Ability to communicate technical data in a clear and concise manner
- Must exhibit excellent written and verbal skills
- 3 or more years of sales experience in a chemical distribution environment is preferred
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport with current and potential customers and suppliers
- Critical attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $54,347.58 - $65,450.85 per year
