Position Overview
The Painter Foreman / Estimator is responsible for leading a small crew of painters and managing projects from start to finish — including estimating, scheduling, quality control, and client communication.
You'll represent Cobra Painting in the field, ensure high-quality work, and oversee day-to-day operations while driving company growth and profitability.
This position comes with a take-home company vehicle and the opportunity to build long-term success through profit-sharing compensation.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage small painting crews on residential and/or commercial projects
- Complete on-site estimates and prepare detailed bids for upcoming jobs
- Plan and coordinate daily work schedules, materials, and timelines
- Perform and oversee surface prep, painting, and finishing to Cobra Painting standards
- Communicate directly with clients, team members, and management
- Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and with top-quality results
- Track labor, materials, and job progress for accurate reporting
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment
- Represent Cobra Painting with integrity and professionalism at all times
Qualifications
- 3 years of professional painting experience
- 1 year of leadership or foreman experience managing small crews
- Experience preparing and completing bids/estimates required
- Strong knowledge of paint products, prep methods, and application techniques
- Excellent communication and time management skills
- Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (take-home company vehicle provided)
- Must take pride in high-quality work and team leadership
