Headquartered in New York City, CoBe Capital is a fast-growing firm with offices and operations throughout the United States and Europe (www.cobecapital.com).

This undergraduate internship is designed to provide an introduction to the alternative investment industry and will prepare candidates for a successful career in private equity/business development. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Sourcing & Market Research: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify and maintain coverage of target lower middle market companies that fit the CoBe's investment criteria
  • High-Volume Outreach & Conversion: Develop and execute a consistent, high-volume multi-channel prospecting strategy (cold calling, email, LinkedIn). Ensure diligent follow-up to convert prospects into qualified introductory meetings
  • Pipeline Management: Qualify investment opportunities, track all activity in the CRM, and analyze metrics to optimize conversion rates
  • Deal Support: Assist with due diligence, industry research, company analysis, and preparation of investment recommendations
  • Industry Expertise: Continuously build market knowledge of M&A trends, private equity strategies, and the overall landscape

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Demonstrated interest in business development and private equity
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, DealCloud) is a plus
  • Must be able to commute to CoBe’s office in Midtown for in-person work consistently at least 3 days a week during the spring semester
  • Expected to work a minimum of 20 hours per week in office
