CobbleStone Software is a fast-growing B2B legal/procurement software company. Our Service Delivery Team is searching for an experienced Cloud Administrator to design, configure, monitor, and maintain cloud-based resources. We offer competitive pay and benefits.

As a Cloud Systems Administrator you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the cloud infrastructure services and servers in various mixed software environments. A strong technical knowledge is required in managing and configuring cloud-based resources, monitoring and troubleshooting issues, managing access and security and optimizing performance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Identify, recommend, coordinate, and implement cost optimization possibilities for cloud resources and other managed SaaS systems that have been approved.

Key Responsibilities:

· Manage cloud infrastructure, optimization, security and performance monitoring.

· Oversee the implementation, maintenance and optimization of cloud-based solutions and infrastructure.

· Ensure that cloud solutions and infrastructure meet performance and security requirements.

· Provide support and troubleshooting for cloud systems and infrastructure through diagnosing and other troubleshooting tools.

· Proactively prevent potential downtime and security breaches.

· Develop and execute long-term cloud strategies aligned with CobbleStone’s business objectives.

· Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in cloud computing to contribute to overall technology infrastructure success.

· Create and update scripts for deploying, updating and removing cloud environments and resources.

· Implement scalability techniques for scaling up and scaling down while ensuring security procedures are adhered to.

· Collaborate and communicate with other IT teams including developers, operations, and security teams to ensure compliance with standards and processes.

· Develop and implement automation processes to simplify and streamline the management of cloud-based infrastructure.

· Identify, recommend, coordinate, and implement cost optimization possibilities for cloud resources and other managed SaaS systems that have been approved

· Design, Develop and Manage company policies and processes related to data management, cloud infrastructure and computing systems.

· Understand and adhere to company, team and department’s policies and procedures.

· Understand and work toward meeting the company’s mission and corporate goals, such as but not limited to: assisting or performing duties related to customer acquisition, customer satisfaction, customer retention, risk mitigation, an/or cost savings.

· Understand your job duties and metrics; perform annual training as requested by the company.

· Professionally manage duties, be on-time, detail tasks management, client feedback and suggestions.

· In-depth understanding of CobbleStone products and features as required by your specific role.

· Respond to internal and external related inquiries or requests and aid other staff members as required.

· Schedule calls, meetings, tasks, planning events, implementation, training, maintain the team’s agenda

· Work with CobbleStone team members, where necessary, to recommend solutions that support the company mission and goals.

· Take direction from management, directors, superiors, and others and provide advice in a professional manner.

· Track and report on metrics

· Professional communication and team interaction.

· When asked: assist and/or lead the mentoring of other staff.

· Understand your roles, job duties and metrics.

· Perform general office duties inclusive of answering phones, emails, meetings, and other related job duties.

· Retain strict confidentiality obligations of company policies and those if its clients; inclusive of not participating in, responding to surveys/questions, or posting company/client/vendor/employee or non-public information on social media sites or other public sources.

· Maintain compliance with PTO and time-off policies, security policies, and comply with applicable laws, regulations, and client contract obligations; strive to schedule all time-off in advance and coordinate with manager and Human Resources.

· Be reliable, professional, and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

· Assist with meeting Companies goal of client revenue growth, client retention, profitability goals.

· May require overnight travel for multiple days

· May require travel, both in the US and International (can be overnight for multiple days)

· May require long period of time at a computer

· May require long walks, stairs, standing, both onsite and on travel

· May require lifting or traveling with items up to 50 lbs.

· Adhere to company policies and procedures.

· Assist with other duties assigned as required to achieve company’s mission

Hiring Standards:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, electronics, or a related field

–OR–

similar industry experience

Required Skills and Experience:

2 years of experience with GCP/Azure platform tools and services.

Knowledge and use of Google Cloud technologies (VMs, Containers, GKE, Load Balancers, Cloud SQL, IAM, Buckets, Cloud DNS, Cloud CDN, etc.)

Knowledge and use of Microsoft technologies (Azure App Services, Azure MFA, O365, Exchange, Mail Relay, Sites and Services, Azure AD, AD, GPO, Extended attributes, etc.)

Strong troubleshooting skills for HTTP response codes, SSO/SAML/SCIM, LDAP, DNS, and email routing/tracing, as well as the ability to maintain security compliance through coordinated Windows and Linux application and system patching.

Knowledge and use of uptime monitoring tools like BetterUptime, UptimeRobot, etc (BetterUptime preferred).

Knowledge and use of SIEM and central monitoring services like Datadog (Datadog preferred).

Capability to design and implement dependable and scalable solutions to meet desired functionality, as well as to establish and manage all continuity requirements to support disaster recovery.

Capability to provide after-hours support to identify and resolve issues relating to accessing corporate IT-managed resources.

Must have strong analytical skills to identify patterns and insights from cloud-based infrastructure and system performance data.

Ability to engage with various end users/clients and translate their needs to user stories and/or other requirements.

Ability to analyze current and future needs, implementing automation for scalable deployment, and using cloud-native services to adapt easily to changing demands.

Nice to have: Azure and/or GCP certifications.

Miscellaneous:

Must have excellent English communication skills.

Must be able to legally work in the United States, must pass background, criminal, and drug testing.
