What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper position at Cobblestone Inn & Suites Waverly?
The Cobblestone Inn & Suites Waverly is Urgently looking to add exceptional, energetic, and team-oriented individuals for the positions of Housekeepers.
Positions are primarily responsible for cleaning guest rooms and bathrooms and also public areas at times. Other duties include stocking supply carts, room deep-cleaning projects, and assisting with other duties as needed.
The ideal candidates will be flexible team players with an eye for detail who want to be the bright spot in our customer’s day.
Other key duties include:
Replenishing guest rooms and baths with amenities, supplies, linen, and terry in accordance with Company standards
Inspect rooms for repairs or fixtures that are not working properly; replace batteries, light bulbs, etc.
Report requests for repairs to supervisor or maintenance department in accordance with hotel procedures.
Qualifications include:
Must be able to spend the majority of the day walking, twisting, bending, pushing/pulling, and kneeling while cleaning
Strong attention to detail required
Must be able to follow written and verbal directions
Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred, but not required
Must be flexible in hours and days available to work. Weekends shifts are required.
Must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment to meet goal times
Pay: $12.50 - $14.00 per hour
