Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our team. In this vital role, you will ensure that guest rooms and public areas are spotless, welcoming, and maintained to the highest standards. Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and public spaces efficiently and thoroughly.
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish amenities such as toiletries and towels.
- Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and perform floor care to keep all surfaces pristine.
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure timely repairs.
- Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly to maintain a safe environment.
- Maintain cleanliness logs and document completed tasks accurately.
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as needed to uphold cleanliness standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hotel housekeeping preferred.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet cleaning.
- Strong understanding of hospitality standards and customer service principles.
- Ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and custodial practices is a plus.
- Housekeeping management experience is desirable for supervisory roles.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning duties for extended periods.
