We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms, public areas, and other designated spaces. This role is essential in providing a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests. Previous experience in hospitality, janitorial, or custodial services is preferred but not required. A strong work ethic and attention to detail are key qualities for success in this position.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to established standards
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replenish supplies such as towels and toiletries
- Perform floor care duties including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet cleaning as needed
- Maintain cleanliness of hallways, lobbies, elevators, and other common areas
- Handle waste disposal and ensure proper disposal of trash
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
- Follow safety protocols and use cleaning chemicals responsibly
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as assigned
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial, or custodial roles preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, and carpet maintenance
- Experience in hotel or hospitality environments is a plus
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning methods and equipment is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently independently or as part of a team
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within designated schedules
- Ability to follow safety guidelines and handle cleaning chemicals safely
- Good communication skills to report issues or needs effectively
