We are looking for enthusiastic Laundry Attendant to maintain laundry and facilities. Laundry Attendant is responsible for cleanliness of laundry, the usage and organization of supplies and maintenance of work area.
Responsibilities
- Receive and sort soiled linens
- Inspect dirty laundry for stains/tears before washing
- Treat stained linens when applicable and salvageable
- Operate washers and dryers as manufacturer intended to include: cleaning ling lint traps, wiping outside of machines, requesting maintenance assistance for repairs, etc.
- Fold clean linens followed by stocking shelves and storage rooms
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow safety and security measures
- Comply with all standards
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Skills
- Work alone without direct supervision
- Ability to multitask while remaining service centric
- Experience with industrial cleaning equipment and products
- Good physical health and stamina
- Excellent organizational skill
- Stand, walk for long periods of time while maintaining a friendly professional image
Special Requirements
- Push or pull 60 pounds
- Lift or carry 30 pounds
